Take part in a weekend celebration of the cuisine and culture of Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, hosted by chef Massimo Bottura and partner Lara Gilmore. Join an intimate group of club members as we take over the beautifully restored villa Casa Maria Luigia, just outside the town of Modena, for a house party of operatic dimension.
The three-day event unfolds with an aria and aperitivo on the stage of the exquisite Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti–named in honor of Modena’s opera legend–before the city’s other favorite son, Massimo, conducts the rest of the proceedings.
Fresh from taking the crown of the World’s Best Restaurant, Massimo and his team from Osteria Francescana will create an intimate, traditional and once-only meal at Casa Maria Luigia. The weekend also includes exploration of Modena and the nearby cities of Parma and Bologna, with tastings led by some of Italy’s finest producers and viewings of little-known artistic and architectural masterpieces.
The event culminates with a private dining experience in Massimo’s much-lauded restaurant—an experience exclusively for PRIOR. Come along with us for a deep dive into the world of the “Fellini of food.”

Massimo Bottura and his partner Lara Gilmore are individually two of the food world’s most beloved identities. Together they are the couple behind the astonishing success of Osteria Francescana, famed not only for Massimo’s dishes but also Lara’s hospitality.

The venue for our Nomadic Clubhouse will be Casa Maria Luigia, Massimo and Lara’s beautifully restored, art-filled villa in the countryside surrounding Modena.

The weekend culminates in a takeover of the current “world’s best restaurant,” with Bottura and the Francescana team opening the cellar and serving the meals that have won them such worldwide acclaim.

Venture behind the scenes of one of opera’s spiritual homes, the extraordinary Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti, taking an aperitivo on stage while experiencing an aria of Italy’s rising young stars.
