- 7 nights
Venture to PRIOR’s purpose-built tented camp in western Argentina’s fertile Neuquén region to observe a total solar eclipse. The greatest point of the 2020 eclipse, our spot in this Patagonian province will be the most powerful place in the world to witness one of nature’s rarest and most brilliant displays—the moon’s shadow sweeping across the mountains and valleys and plunging the landscape into minutes of darkness. Guests will experience private access to a remote viewing observatory with outstanding views to the celestial phenomena and the surrounding parks, mountains, lakes, and forest.
The 7-night journey ends with a takeover of El Santuario, a 550-acre private nature reserve where you can explore the rainforest and wetlands of the Villa la Angostura region, including traditional culinary experiences and horseback riding, kayaking, yoga, or hiking. You’ll ride alongside South American cowboys, see glacial lakes and pastoral valleys, and experience the full splendor of northern Patagonia’s diverse landscapes.
